I have trapped hundreds of coyotes and fox, both red and greys.
I will eliminate these song dogs and sell their pelts this fall when their fur is prime.
Coyotes are, according to Dean Parisian, three times more difficult to trap than fox simply because they are taller, more shy, have better noses, have higher impulse control, and have far larger travel routes.
Still easy to catch with the right gear.
Fox are easy to trap. Coyotes have eliminated fox from a large swath of the United States. As food sources have dwindled due to fence rows being eliminated for denning sites, coyotes kill fox as competitors for food.
I will trap this coyote family this fall. They have killed a lot of fawns on Ghost Ranch this summer.
It's time they die and I make a few bucks.
Next summer there will be another family to take their place.
It never ends with fawn killers.
