Ruth Bader Ginsburg

It is obvious from this desk that being rabidly biased is a prerequisite for being on SCOTUS.

Remember this is the woman who slept during the State of the Union address.

It's disgusting to see the highest, most sacred court in the United States not being impartial and being swayed by the personal opinions of the judges who sit on it.

Criminal Democrats at work.

Best. Writer. Planet Earth. Marion D S Dreyfus

The croupier dealt the cards out on the table. The players all see the hands. And now the  participants can continue the game, fold, call it quits, or move to another table, where the dealer is, to be sure, often loud and perhaps rambunctiously unexpected. But at least Donald trump, presumptive Republican candidate for the 2016 Presidential election, hasn't gone on record as a conniving and unprincipled career liar, deliberate colluder in cover-ups, and still-emerging worse.

After long thought, I now think FBI Director James Comey did his best: He crucified Hillary on a cross of lies, mishandling, deceitfulness, recklessness and  self-aggrandizing  supposed inviolability. In so doing, without the coup de grace of a proper formal indictment, Comey stopped short of indicting Hillary Rodham, and did not then cause a huge tumult in the already turbulent  electoral process by vitiating the ongoing campaign. He did not deprive the Left team of their star pitcher, HRC. He did not leave the campaign without a viable candidate, to be filled in by who-knows-what replacement pitcher.

Unappetizing as it seems to many, Comey can live to investigate  another day, and Hillary has been found untrustworthy in  damning testimony widely disseminated. Once and endlessly on YouTube and forever on the dinosaur media.

To be sure, the GOP will make hay with this fodder for the remaining months of the presidential circus of a campaign. Many Democrats, too, are disgusted, whether she was formally indicted or not. Independents did not love the decision, either, but took it into their considerations of whom they might vote for in the November sweeps.

The FBI proceedings over two long years wounded this afflictional candidate with a series of mortal blows.

Everything she now says in public, in commercials and that her assigns say on her behalf, will be viewed with ironic scare quotes and incipient hoots of disbelief--what she says about Donald Trump is not a patch on what has now been declared and bruited widely as her personal Waterloo of disingenuous guilt in all the issues those on the Right have long been trumpeting.

The croupier dealt the cards on the table. The players all see the face-up gamble. And now the  participants can continue the game, fold, call it quits, or move to another table, where the dealer is loud and  perhaps consistently unexpected. But at least he hasn't gone on record as a conniving and unprincipled career liar, colluder in cover-ups, and worse.
Remember: The Clinton Foundation, source of major regulatory no-no's and more than questionable practices since its inception in 1997, remains still to be publicized and  brought to the court of public opinion and  'transparency." In the Foundation net, both Bill Clinton, former Prtesident from 1992-2000, is dangling from the mesh, and even Chelsea can be seen grasping at the crab- and ground-sucking-flecked fishnet

For one thing, not unreasonably, there is serious talk of removing Hillary Rodham’s security clearance, which would be a remarkable development in the career of a woman seeking the highest office in the land.

Wherever you stand on Hillary Rodham, FBI Director Comey negotiated carefully  through the Scylla and Charybdis of the law and allocation of 'justice,' but lives to indict and  expose another day.

Written by Allen West, July 9, 2016

As you know, one of my true loves is SEC college football and I’m counting the days until it returns. Y’all know I’m a big time Tennessee Volunteer and cannot wait to hear those famed words, “it’s football time in Tennessee,” made great by one John Ward. One of the things you look for in a football game is that pivotal moment, that play, drive, or decision that turns the tide of a game — shifts the momentum.
As I reflect on this past week, one of such horrific tragedy here in Dallas, I believe it was a pivotal week, a moment that may have a long term positive effect for our country, our beloved Constitutional Republic, America.
This week began with all of us preparing for that special American celebration, its 240th Independence Day. Think about that, this great nation, the beacon of liberty, freedom, and democracy has only been in existence for 240 years.
This is the land where the individual is sovereign and endowed with unalienable rights from the Creator — life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Just imagine what we’ve achieved and accomplished since those 56 men pledged their lives, fortunes, and sacred honor as they affixed their names to the document that established these United States of America — the Declaration of Independence.
But not even 24 hours after the great celebrations, the very foundation of our founding was cracked; severely.
We watched as the director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation informed us that a former secretary of state had lied and placed our national security at risk, over her own personal and political gain. And worse, there were to be no consequences for such abhorrent behavior.
You have to ask, how did we go from those 56 selfless servants who established this Republic to such despicable character — actually, such lack of any standard of integrity and character. We learned this past Tuesday there’s a new elite, a group above our rule of law and basic decency. Yet, we saw the unfortunate standard-bearer of the behavior join with another who possesses the most disgusting behavior, one who has repeatedly lied to the American people. One who abandoned Americans to die in their dire hour — thirteen hours — of need, and lied to our nation and the families for political gain. Two people standing on a stage with the Great Seal of the Office of the President of the United States. They defiled that symbol.
In this week, we’ve witnessed the confirmation of a political party that has become a new American Socialist Party. They’ve become a party rooted in lies, traitorous actions, race-baiting; a party of radicals whose objective is to fundamentally transform this nation from that which we celebrated on Monday.
We know this party blocked legislation to protect Americans from being assaulted or killed by illegal immigrants. We know this party eschewed our national sovereignty in favor of the establishment of sanctuary cities that take law abiding taxpayer dollars to shield those here illegally. How could it be that the sacrifices of those 56 men, and the lives lost in order for this nation to gain its independence, be so reprehensible to this party that they feel American pride and exceptionalism are cancerous and xenophobic?
Here in Dallas we’ve suffered the horrible experience of having five law enforcement officers gunned down because of the irresponsible rhetoric and purposeful fomenting of racial unrest. Those who take an oath to safeguard our domestic tranquility are now demonized and targeted.
Let’s be honest, there are bad individuals in the world — bad cops, bad Soldiers, bad lawyers, bad doctors, bad bankers, lots of bad politicians and bad actors, but we do not denigrate an entire group.
Yet, when we have Americans killed in the second largest Islamic terror attack — this party says nothing about the horrific ideology that motivates these actions, but instead focuses on its own insidious agenda. When we have the deadliest attack on law enforcement since 9-11, it’s not about the ideology, the flames fueled and fanned by lies and wrongful emotional statements — such as by the president – but it’s again all about the tool, the instrument. Since 2009, it has always been about eroding the reputation and delegitimizing our law enforcement officers — beginning with “the police acted stupidly.”
Monday we celebrated 240 years of American independence — yet these people are hell bent on DEpendence and the expansion of a welfare nanny-state. They scream about “free” and use divisive language to stoke the fires of class warfare.
How soon could it be before we find certain hardworking and successful Americans ambushed just as the progressive socialist left has inspired the shootings against police in Texas, Tennessee, Georgia, and Missouri? After all, the prescription for disaster the left follows is called “Rules for Radicals.”
But through all of this, I see the positive. This has been a pivotal week in America. It has been a week when the progressive socialist left has been exposed. It has been a week when I’ve seen and read of Americans realizing that here is where they must make a stand.
As in an SEC football game, this is where the shift in momentum will occur. Just like how a “pick six” can turn a game, it is happening. It is now what Ronald Reagan spoke about back on the 27th of October in 1964, “A Time for Choosing.” Reagan spoke of a “Rendezvous with destiny,” and I believe this week is that pivotal moment that will set us on the course to restore this Republic.
As I outlined this missive and collected my thoughts, I listened to Reagan’s speech. I implore you, if you are ready and willing to take the field and shift the momentum in this seminal battle for the soul of our country, watch this speech.
I want you to share this speech with your friends. I want you to send it to your progressive socialist acquaintances and let them know — you have a “rendezvous with destiny.” Reagan was once a member of the Democrat Party, and then he had his pivotal moment, his “road to Damascus” experience. Listen to his words then, and see the relevance to today. We need not settle for what the new American Socialist Party of liars, traitors, race-baiters and radicals offers. We are Americans…we can do so much better…because after this week we realize that we too have a “rendezvous with destiny!”
Two hundred and forty years ago, 56 men set us on this course. We must continue to run it and we can only do so as a civilized society that respects justice — and this week we saw injustice by way of the cronyism, nepotism, and corruption of political, media, education and entertainment elites.
Leonidas said it in 490 BC at Thermopylae…it was said at Ft. Morris 1778 in the Georgia Province during the American Revolution…and the Texians said it in October 1835 at Gonzales.
Molon Labe…Come and take it.

July 8, 2016 in the Unites States of America

  • If plastic water bottles are okay, but plastic bags are banned, — you might live in a nation (state) that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.
  • If you can get arrested for hunting or fishing without a license, but not for entering and remaining in the country illegally — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.
  • If you have to get your parents’ permission to go on a field trip or to take an aspirin in school, but not to get an abortion — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.
  • If you MUST show your identification to board an airplane, cash a check, buy liquor, or check out a library book and rent a video, but not to vote for who runs the government — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.
  • If the government wants to prevent stable, law-abiding citizens from owning gun magazines that hold more than ten rounds, but gives twenty F-16 fighter jets to the crazy new leaders in Egypt — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.
  • If, in the nation’s largest city, you can buy two 16-ounce sodas, but not one 24-ounce soda, because 24-ounces of a sugary drink might make you fat — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.
  • If an 80-year-old woman who is confined to a wheelchair or a three-year-old girl can be strip-searched by the TSA at the airport, but a woman in a burka or a hijab is only subject to having her neck and head searched — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.
  • If your government believes that the best way to eradicate trillions of dollars of debt is to spend trillions more — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.
  • If a seven-year-old boy can be thrown out of school for saying his teacher is “cute” but hosting a sexual exploration or diversity class in grade school is perfectly acceptable — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.
  • If hard work and success are met with higher taxes and more government regulation and intrusion while not working is rewarded with Food Stamps, WIC checks, Medicaid benefits, subsidized housing, and free cell phones — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.
  • If you pay your mortgage faithfully, denying yourself the newest big-screen TV, while your neighbor buys iPhones, time shares, a wall-sized do-it-all plasma screen TV and new cars, and the government forgives his debt when he defaults on his mortgage — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.
  • If being stripped of your Constitutional right to defend yourself makes you more “safe” according to the government — you might live in a nation that was founded by geniuses but is run by idiots.

THINK BEFORE YOU VOTE.

Thomas Perez, U.S. Labor Secretary

Bullshit artist of the highest order.

Here are the facts of the Jobs numbers released today.

259,000 were in the 55 and over age group, while only 28,000 were added in the critical 25-54 age group. Young workers, those under 24, lost a collective 107,000 in June. In other words, 90% of all job gains in the month went to workers 55 and over.

The FIX is in boys and girls.....

The key line: "To be clear, this is not to suggest that in similar circumstances, a person who engaged in this activity would face no consequences. To the contrary, those individuals are often subject to security or administrative sanctions. But that is not what we are deciding now."

In other words, anyone but her would be in a world of hurt over this.

The criminal will continue on her merry way.

Joe Daly, Hamline Law

It's been a long time since I had the opportunity to watch Joe Daly sip coffee in his Criminal Law class at Hamline University School of Law.

Joe would come in with his tightly coifed beard and wear that coffee cup out!

He was a real sipper and good in the classroom.

I wonder what he would have to say about the criminal actions of the Attorney General of the United States allowing former President Clinton on her aircraft?

I say the fix is in.

The real action in the market................

The new normal sure is strange: with the S&P flirting with all time highs, not to mention staging another dramatic V-shaped comeback from the post-Brexit crash which saw S&P futures trade limit down a week ago, investors keep on selling. According to Lipper data, U.S.-based stock mutual funds, which are held by retail mom-and-pop investors, posted cash withdrawals of $2.8 billion over the weekly period ended Wednesday; this was the 16th consecutive week of outflows.
