It's Friday, May Day, International Workers Day in Russia.
A mutant Russia will be celebrating their military might on May 9, 2026. Russia is holding a scaled-back Victory Day parade without military equipment (no tanks, missiles, or heavy vehicles) for the first time in nearly two decades, citing the "current operational situation" (widely linked to the Ukraine conflict and security concerns like drone threats). It will mainly feature marching troops, with possible aircraft flyovers.
If you aren't doing anything but reading this blog today, consider sitting back in your chair and watch this video. You probably haven't read a book in a year or two because you are too busy looking at your cell phone watching videos. You probably think reading is old fashioned!
If you are eyeing your cell phone and bored, looking and scrolling like you are bored silly, waiting for that tic toc dopamine hit to kick in, maybe even in a senseless stupor with the Friday blahs trying to decipher what to do this weekend if you haven't found purpose in life, take a break, ponder life, think, I know, it's dam hard for you to do. Think. Think about what Ben has to say.
You see, Ben will be dead very soon. He will die. Just like you and I.
Ben had a lot to say the other day.
Listen and learn, and maybe even think.
You'll thank me later, like you always do.
