It's that time of year! The older females are busy tending to their tiny tots.
The males are settled into their bachelor groups far away from the nonsense of youngsters and will remain together until fall when testosterone levels cause them to disband and go on the hunt for breeding prospects.
You can find these fawns in the darndest places. They will hit the deck anywhere, at any time, and lie motionless.
How they survive in the numbers they do is mind-boggling.
When they have twin fawns (or triplets), the Moms are double busy as they split the youngsters up to prevent predators from getting both!
Magical, beautiful, graceful. It's that time of year!
