Never forgot my roots.  It was a Minnesota trapline of red fox that got me to San Diego, California in January of 1979.  It's been upward bound ever since.  I never forgot how to catch that right front foot on canines.

A client of mine, Tim Caven, is without question, the best lure maker in the world. Tim is the founder of Minnesota Trapline Products.

I used some of Tim's bait and call lure to bring this song dog in close to his demise.  I have used Tim's lures since the mid-70's and will continue to use them for the rest of my natural life.

Boo-yeah Mr. Wily Coyote!   A big stout male is # 1 in 2026.

INFLATION

When I moved to San Diego, California in January, 1979, it was starting.  

Inflation.

I think later that year or the next, every third person in San Diego (except me) had a license to sell real estate! 

Look at the devaluation of the United States currency since 1979.

Here is a chart showing the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) — the standard measure of the CPI in the U.S. — from January 1979 to the most recent available data (through November 2025, as of early 2026).

The index uses the base period 1982–1984 = 100, meaning values represent average price levels relative to that reference period. The long-term upward trend clearly illustrates the cumulative effects of inflation over more than 45 years, with notable acceleration periods in the late 1970s/early 1980s (high inflation era), the 2000s, and post-2020.

What a commitment by somebody with alot of money!

The institutional investor that bought shares of Ondas Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: ONDS) at effectively $16.45 (noted as $16.45 in official announcements) is not publicly named in the company's press releases or related filings available as of January 9, 2026.
On January 9, 2026, Ondas announced a $1 billion registered direct offering priced above the market (a ~17.5% premium to the January 8, 2026 closing price). The deal involved:

• 19,000,000 shares of common stock, sold at a combined price of $16.45 per share (including accompanying common stock warrants).
• Pre-funded warrants to purchase up to 41,790,274 shares, sold at a combined price of $16.4499 (with a nominal $0.0001 exercise price).

This totals approximately 60.79 million common stock equivalents, bundled with warrants to purchase an additional ~121.58 million shares (exercisable at $28.00 per share over 7 years). The transaction was explicitly made to a single institutional investor (or "an institutional investor" in all sources).

That wasn't Mom n Pop in Mandaree, Pickstown, Pine Ridge, Rushville, Wanblee, Rosebud, Lake Andes or Melstone buying today.

That was some excellent institutional accumulation!

It is surprising that a political party that believes the following has any supporters other than criminals and mentally ill people: 1. The Somali daycare fraud never happened. 2. Illegal immigration is good for the country. 3. Zohran isn’t a communist or antisemitic. 4. Maduro is a good guy and is helping the people of Venezuela. 5. Mentally ill men should be allowed to compete against women. 6. Voter fraud doesn't exist. 7. We need more taxes 8. We can fix environmental problems if you give the government unlimited money and power. 9 The Democrats have policies that will help the average person. 10. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were great leaders.
