What the hell is going on?
What kind of scum bag do you have to be to lure in firefighters after starting a fire and start shooting them?
God will have the last say.

What the hell is going on?
What kind of scum bag do you have to be to lure in firefighters after starting a fire and start shooting them?
God will have the last say.
My portfolio is at an all-time high, as it should be.
The S&P 500 Index is at an all-time high today.
It took time and work to get here.
Here are some words that never get old.
Human is not a synonym for rational. Don't confuse net worth with self-worth. Success has nothing to do with money and everything to do with how you feel about yourself. People can do whatever they think they can do. I've never met a successful pessimist. I've always believed that if you put in the work, the results will come. The extra mile is never crowded. Americans underestimate the value of pure freedom. Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage. Hustle never has an off night. Don't fear giving up the good to go for the great.Theft comes in many forms. I hate thieves. I worked with legions of them in the investment business. It is legally allowed. The guy next to me putting 8 points in tax-free bonds (he's dead now), crossing stock in-house with "no commissions" of several points, corporate bonds with 7 point mark-ups (he's dead too); the grift and fraud are endless.
The construction business is ideally suited for theft. Theft of time, theft of materials, theft of tools, it is boundless what is ripped off from unsuspecting homeowners.
I am especially scared of unscrupulous painters and handymen who, under the color of SCRIPTURE, either on business cards, letterhead or trailers, apply a Bible verse to show the world how honest and caring they are.
I run from people like that. You should too. FLEE is the better word.
I have had several instances in life, I'm only 71, where I have seen Scripture verses on business cards, trailers, and letterhead used as a front to pilfer.
Here is one I saw again today.
I caught this guy stealing from me. He was stealing material that I had bought for MY job and at completion he was loading it up in his trailer when I caught him.
Big Christian? No, just a scum bag. A bona fide thief.
Moses only left us 10 Commandments. This one is fairly clear.
I'm not that bright. Went to West Point, accepted into 5 of the 6 law schools I applied to, made millions in the stock market, graduated college in 3 plus years with two majors, but still learning daily.
The best schooling I received was from dealing with successful people over the past 35 years, who asked me to help them preserve and grow their financial assets.
That said, don't you rise and shine every single day, feeling rather queasy about life in America? Looking around the major cities, seeing the entitlement, the theft, the lack of parental skills, the lack of two-parent households, rampant drug use, and on and on and on it goes.
Common sense is lacking everywhere.
Where are we going?
I made my career on the telephone.
Some salesmen were a lot more polished, but they definitely didn't do the numbers.
However, no one outworked me when it came time to make cold calls.
I made a million of them.
I am a believer in using telephone scripts to this day. And a mirror.
Smiling on a telephone call makes all the difference in the world.
Try it.
This was the phone that started my career in 1979 as a salesman with the Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company in San Diego before I was hired at Kidder Peabody & Co., Inc on April 1, 1982.
The General Agent was Robert Windegardner, a gentleman in the ranks of Northwestern agents. And yes, we had to pay for our phone calls.
Once society is ready for the conversation!
This is for the folks in Pine Ridge, Rice Lake, Mandaree, Marty, and Lodge Grass.
President Trump on Iran and Israel: "We have two countries that have been fighting so hard and so long that they don't know what the fuck they're doing."
700 NEW cases of HIV are being reported in the United States every week.
The 13% AA community is leading the way.
Keep those pants on!
Obama did two things right. Only two.
He prevented Mitt Romney from being President and two, he prevented John McCain from being President.
I used to know a couple of dumb shits that voted for this idiot. He keeps perpetuating the climate scam hoax so that he can buy more ocean front property on the cheap. That cat was the most destructive POTUS in history!.
We still want to know about his birth certificate and college transcripts.
I had had enough when I heard, "If I had a son, he'd look like Trayvon".
Never forget that, during Barack Obama's presidency, over 100,000 bombs were dropped on 7 different countries.
Last night's deadly tornado activity in North Dakota is hard to fathom.
The death, the destruction, maybe the single largest tornado to land in the state since they have been keeping records.
For the small towns that were destroyed, the families of those killed, and the farmers and ranchers who were put out of business, it was devastating.
I can only pray.
Today is the summer solstice. The day that has the longest amount of sunlight and the shortest amount of darkness in the Northern Hemisphere. From now until December, the amount of daylight will decrease daily.
Today is a sad day at Pamelot. We appreciate our wildlife and work hard to provide habitat for birds and wildlife to flourish. Two years ago, we transitioned to different landscapes to maintain a mosaic of vegetation patches to support diverse species of birds and animals with various food and cover requirements for foraging, breeding, and escape from predators. Yes, we have a lot of predators.
Coyotes are always here, and we hear their songs from den sites in early spring. Bear are in the vicinity, as are fox, raccoons, opossums, snakes, hawks, owls, and they are easy to see if you look. And don't forget cats. Wild, tame, feral, house, they are all here doing what they do best.
As a birder I know well the carnage inflicted on wild bird populations by cats.
Last night, we lost the second clutch of killdeer. The first clutch had been wiped out a month ago by predators, and the parents decided to nest again in the general vicinity. This nest happened to be smack in the middle of the road. The birds sat for 25 days, and the first egg hatched yesterday morning. There were 3 eggs, so we had one chick and two eggs when I checked on them at sundown last night.
This morning, in the solitude of early dawn, coffee in hand, I walked up the drive to check on the nest. I heard nothing, I saw nothing. There was nothing. Gone.
Overnight, gone. Eaten by a predator. God provided a meal to a predator.
It's the cycle of life.
In some ways it seems just like yesterday. Not much has changed except I am learning the game of golf. I have much to learn!
Dear Friends & Partners,
The heat and humidity is intense. I heard my first cicada this
morning so I know summer is here. I'm going to spend my Sunday hours writing
this synopsis so you know what I'm thinking at mid-year. First, let’s review
where we are and what we are up against. As you know by looking at your
brokerage statements for May things are a bit unsettled to put it mildly. May
was tough. Ugly. Real ugly. My 2012 investment thesis has been to expect a
repeat of 2011. No great shakes. I am
trying to stay defensive and keep a defensive posture. My posture in
staying defensive is because I think we are up against stock market regulators,
politicians, greedy bankers and half the nation looking for the “perfectly
legitimate excuse”. Life, like the markets, sometimes doesn't make sense and
for sure it isn't fair. I don't have an edge on Greek or Egyptian elections,
the Spanish banking system, what the European Central Bank, the International
Monetary Fund, the Chinese government, the U.S. Federal Reserve or what the
tough chick in Germany, Angela Merkel will do. I know we have a recession in
Europe, a Chinese economy that is slowing, a trending rise in unemployment in
America and we are running drone wars in Pakistan, Somalia, Yemen and,
unfortunately, still fully engaged in Afghanistan. Oh, and nearly 48,000,000
Americans using and abusing food stamps. Tell me, did I miss anything?
I do know our great country needs job creation and a recovery in
housing. To me, they are the big drivers of our economy. Corporate America
seems to be holding its own, but they are NOT expanding jobs. Can you blame
them? They are hoarding cash, which is paying nearly zero. Healthcare “reform”
looms as a key focal point, and we should get some clarity this week as the
Supreme Court decision is close. Our current healthcare system is ineffective, and that is where the debate should reside. The abuse and waste is obvious. If
you watch television or scour the internet, you know that Europe has chaos, the
banking system is running excessive leverage and risk, the budgets in virtually
every western country are out of control and the amounts of government debt are
only increasing. I accept all of that for what it is and I try to exploit the
opportunities. Working hard and working smart is difficult in this environment.
All that said, the stock market has not fallen off a cliff. Close, but the
market is still in a very small, positive uptrend. That is for now. By Friday
things could of course be much different.
My position has been one that has served me well. I am trying to keep perspective. To
look at the big picture, to remain positive and optimistic about our country,
our markets, and our way of life. I have tried to position portfolios to guard
against the ravages of inflation and central bank printing presses running at
the speed of light. And by the way, it’s an election year, so I'll leave it to
you to decide whose version of the truth you want to believe. What I know is
that politicians the world over are following their own self-interest. Their
only real goal is to remain in power as long as possible. Some things haven't
changed!
Here’s an issue I grapple with today. West Texas Intermediate
crude oil is trading down hard and near two year lows. That’s good for us at
the pump for sure. Stocks are still in a positive light. Just what is it that
stocks believe about our future that the all-important energy markets do not?
Is it deflation or inflation? Is the global slowdown in growth as reflected by
the demand picture of crude a better reflection of reality than what our U.S.
stock market is telling us? With $80 oil barrels demand has got to be slowing
or are the Saudi’s grasping for their last meal? And remember, the Bakken shale
is not a global oil supply game changer. The oil boom has been one of the
bright spots in this economy and at $80 oil that doesn't work. Oil shale, oil
sands, deepwater rigs, they are all expensive. Projects will slow or be
canceled at lower oil prices. Oil field workers may have to join the food stamp
nation!
I don't have a lot of insight as to where this market will be by
the end of the year. Nobody pays me to rub a crystal ball. They pay me to do
two things. They pay me to preserve their money and make it grow. I think
prudent money management is owning exposure to commodities whether it be gold,
gold mining shares, coal, silver or crude oil. There’s no sugar coating it. I
don't believe politicians and central planners (Bernanke and Geithner) who
continue to downplay, obfuscate and flat out lie about the current economic
reality. My effort in trying to decipher appropriate diversification parameters
amongst various asset classes remains the same. I don't take breaks in the
seriousness of the job you entrust me to do for you. There is no golf or
fishing trips to distract me. I still work a lot. I love my job. I work for the
best people in the world. And yes, the mistakes made rest solely upon my
shoulders. I still make mistakes. My biggest mistake year to date has been
holding Peabody Energy shares. Maybe you own some. Peabody Energy is the
largest private-sector coal company in the world. President Obama has basically
declared war on American coal companies. The company fuels approximately 10% of
the electricity generated in the United States and 2% of the electricity
generated throughout the world. They aren't going out of business any time
soon. In time we will know if I made another mistake.
I want you to know that if for any reason you need to reach me
please try via email or this phone number, 877-772-1621. I am going to be
visiting a client on the West Coast late this week. A cancer survivor. Never
forget as I tell so many, the biggest component of our net worth is still our
health.
I wish you the best summer season ever and hope you believe as I
do that the best is yet to come. As always I welcome your feedback, tips,
referrals, great recipes, jokes and phone calls.
We are the luckiest people on earth. We live in America!
Thank you for your trust and confidence.
Dean Parisian
Had to go to my M.D. the other day. He is a good person. To see a physical therapist I needed a Dr. visit. Truly highway robbery if you think about it.
I do my best to stay away from "healthcare".
Health is my responsibility. Not some pill bottle, not some surgical suite, not some physical therapy, not some needless teeth cleaning, not some Dentist or nurse or Doctor bullshitting America.
Health, good health, takes some work.
Pulse was 69.
Oxygen was 96%.
Blood pressure was 122 over 78.
I don't take any pills prescribed by the "healthcare" system. I have been asked to take this, take that, take all the nonsense they try to jam into a body, week after week, for life.
Just eat good food. Exercise, sleep well, use it or lose it. Too easy, isn't it?
Boys and girls across the world, listen up.
Do yourself a favor. You need this.

No, this isn't an episode of the TV show.
We live in an era of fraud, lies, and corruption in banking, private equity, healthcare, government, and investing.
Taxpayers of the United States will have to pay for this, as they usually do. Until they can't. The debt is unsustainable; forget about a deficit in excess of 2 trillion dollars. Unfunded liabilities of Social Security and Medicare are estimated to be over $150,000,000,000,000.00 Gold will run much higher in my lifetime and yours. It has started.
Think I am bullshitting? Just wait. It's coming
Red is the same as blue. Have you noticed no one gets investigated?
GOP Congress critters are as spineless as the Democrats, and you know who the Democrats are! They are the ones who believe 5-year-olds can decide to have life-altering sex change surgery.
By the way, has anyone seen Pam Bondi? Is she still Attorney General?
Has Bondi arrested any bad people that DOGE uncovered? Didn't think so.
So the Biden autopen was the business of the day, and the beat goes on. Prepare accordingly.
By the way, this Juneteenth day is rather odd. A national holiday for 5 years, and no one knows exactly what it is about.
Officially recognized as a federal holiday in 2021, Juneteenth is observed with community gatherings, parades, music, food, and reflection on freedom and justice. The stock market is closed. Celebrations often include food, storytelling, and educational events highlighting Black history. It’s a time to acknowledge ongoing struggles for equality while celebrating progress.
Now, if the community could take a day off from killing fellow members or others, America would be a better place.
There are a lot of problems in the world. Never forget, 600,000 Americans died to ensure that blacks were no longer slaves. Reparations are not in the cards. Giving money away to those who don't have and taking it from those who have isn't the answer. You don't know this.
In America, the greatest threat to society is the lack of in-home fathers in 2-parent households.
Black Families: 60% plus have children raised without a Dad at home
Native American Families: 37% to 50% plus have children raised without a Dad at home, depending on the reservation (tribe) you are looking at.
Latino Families: 42% of children growing up, no father in sight.
White Families: 25% of children raised with no father in a 2 parent home.
Ugly.
Real Ugly.
Ugly in so many ways.
So many repercussions across society.
Not a single politician is discussing how to use financial incentives to change these numbers.
The confusion among the blue hairs or no hairs frolicking around the country last Saturday was rather startling. I had no idea that so many people are clueless about what is happening in this country.
America, if you don't understand anything, understand this: it was overthrown in a rigged election in 2020. Yes, that's right. The facts bear it out.
Every single day, I'm grateful that Kamala Harris did not get voted into office. Imagine the money and nonsense that DOGE uncovered that would have doubled or tripled the amounts stolen from the taxpayers.
Many of those leftist scum bags are still in their positions, ready, willing, and able to screw things up even more. The traitors are still in office, biding their time, doing nothing but stealing from American taxpayers.
Donald J. Trump won the election in 2024 because the steal was halted.
You have no clue today.
You are in the middle of World War III and don't even know it.
What the heck, Maynard?
Hard to comprehend the insane, cognitive extinction of common sense.
My sincere prayers to the families and friends who were killed.
How does a Democrat lawmaker vote with Republicans to eliminate free health care for illegal immigrants (criminals who have violated law) and then, hours later, die from a bullet fired by a Democrat?
Take a minute, and imagine if the Harris/Walz duo of miscreants had been voted in?
I grew up in Minnesota. I went to college there. I realize that cultural equivalency is a big lie. People talk about 'wage gaps', 'income gaps', and 'wealth gaps'.
Why do the Minnesota DFL oinks never discuss 'skill gaps', 'effort gaps', and 'talent gaps'?
How about advancing character, competence, skill, and hard work that have nothing to do with race, gender, and physical characteristics?
I am biased. No question. I love the Yellowstone River.
I don't believe there have ever been 2 identical days for this river to behave in its entire existence.
The southern boundary of the Ghost Ranch is the shoreline (high water mark) of the Yellowstone. Probably the finest smallmouth bass fishery in the entire world.
Upriver from the Ghost Ranch about 340 miles lies the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone where the river gets it start.
The debt needs to be cut. Spending needs to be cut.
Entitlements need to be cut.
Military spending does not need to be cut.
You will be speaking Mandarin soon enough.
It's that time of year! The older females are busy tending to their tiny tots.
The males are settled into their bachelor groups far away from the nonsense of youngsters and will remain together until fall when testosterone levels cause them to disband and go on the hunt for breeding prospects.
You can find these fawns in the darndest places. They will hit the deck anywhere, at any time, and lie motionless.
How they survive in the numbers they do is mind-boggling.
When they have twin fawns (or triplets), the Moms are double busy as they split the youngsters up to prevent predators from getting both!
Magical, beautiful, graceful. It's that time of year!

Summer is in full swing. The lush greenery of the Cumberlands is on full display as are it's summer inhabitants. These are a few shots we took this past week at our TN farm, PAMELOT. It's a birding life!
This is another interesting article.
You will enjoy it!
These fakes and frauds feed at the trough of liberal policy. They are similar to the greatest fake Indian to ever grace the halls of the United States Senate, Elizabeth "Liewatha" Warren.
Warren has to be the most recognizable liar in the Senate, to lie and lie and lie about her Native American lineage that was non-existent.
Jerry Whitson was a good man. He knew where he stood and he stood there.
I was proud to call him a friend. Jerry had a sly sense of humor and would give you the shirt off his back. Called it the way he saw it come down. Driving away from the reception after the funeral service was somber. I miss the guy. I miss his girlfriend. I miss the smile. I miss the laughter. I miss the humor.
He knew Crossville, and Crossville knew him.
Jerry knew what he was doing with people. He could read you a long way off. He was always willing to give someone a chance.
Jerry had a successful business washing and detailing cars, trucks, boats, and whatever else you could bring him. We always had a good chuckle when I would tell him that running a car wash between two automated car washes wasn't my idea of a prime location. He always enjoyed the humor in that because the clients just showed up, driving past the other car washes to have Jerry's team work their magic.
And let me tell you about magic. Jerry's business is only getting better.
One of the talented employees who worked with Jerry has assumed the role of running WHITSON DETAIL and is doing the things that Jerry would be so proud of!
Rebecca Kennedy is calling the shots at Whitson Detail these days, and I am proud to continue my relationship with her and Whitson Detail. Whether it's my wife's beautiful Mercedes or one of my old pickups, it doesn't matter; she continues to deliver a thorough, showroom-quality shine every time.
From exterior washes to meticulous interior detailing, Rebecca's skilled team treats your car with the utmost precision and care, preserving its value and appearance. It is my opinion, after using hand-washed car companies from Southern California to Atlanta for over 50 years, that no other company in Crossville does a better job of washing and cleaning a vehicle than her team!
It took over 200 years for the U.S. debt to reach $12 trillion.
Dean Parisian says it's a massive con job on the back of the American taxpayer.
Elon Musk says "I’m sorry, but I just can’t stand it anymore. This massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination. Shame on those who voted for it: you know you did wrong. You know it."
Robby Starbuck says, "Congress has never been more hated. The good members know this and understand why. It’s largely corrupt, insular, narcissistic, and filled with the wrong incentives. It’s a both sides problem (esp in leader$hip). And that’s the nicest stuff I have to say about Congress right now."
General Mike Flynn says, "It will not get better. The hogs are still at the trough and will refuse to move away from it. There are not enough honest people in Congress who are willing to stand up for the harder right thing even at this stage of our monumental national debt."The RINO's in government want to destroy the United States. This one trillion dollars per year in interest payments is absurd.
The Congress thinks America is too busy worrying about TDS, Gender Identity, and Liberalism! They better think again. America will primary every last one of those spendthrift pricks right out of office.
Like David Byrne asks, "Well, how did we get here?"Like you I need sleep. Older I get, the less I need.
My day starts early. It's invariably dark when I awaken. Birds are still quiet.
I scan the news/markets like anyone else who may have a substantial position in the global markets. From there, the Keurig is started.
From there I head to my outdoor spa, which is located close to a plethora of bird feeders. Birds have been a part of my life for a long time. My LIFE LIST across six continents is rather impressive. So, coffee, spa, birds, shower, office. Being retired, i still love getting after it. Why quit when you love the game? Not many people get to spend part of their day trying to figure out who you can help with your daily "bread"! I am humbled and grateful for what the markets have provided.
So, with the coffee, I do one cup. One. There was a time in my life when large mugs of nasty coffee were part and parcel of my trading day. It was so bad that in the La Jolla office of Drexel Burnham Lambert, the office manager actually charged employees for daily coffee. This particular manager was extremely "tight" and ran a tight ship because his bonus depended on net profitability. I had never heard of a brokerage office on the West Coast that started life very early and charged employees for subpar coffee! I lived it!
Coffee is the most abused drug on the planet I would think. I was guilty.
Today, just one. Black, unsweet, hot, and quiet.
What CEO in North America would NOT have tried to beat the tariffs?
Name one. Just one.
The media's hype on how great the economy is rolling is not honest.
Honest media (liberal media) is non-existent. They are all compromised.
Believe it.
The numbers coming in are front-loaded. GDP has been ramping ahead of the tariffs. Why wouldn't it? The fakery is all too obvious.
The media says the bears and doomers don't get it. The media tells us the FED (always compromised, ladies and gentlemen, always) doesn't call for a recession anytime soon. The nut jobs down in Atlanta are calling for a massive 4.6% GDP number in Q2.
Bears and doomers won't believe it, but apparently, the Fed doesn't see a recession anytime soon. - Atlanta Fed forecasts huge 4.6% GDP in Q2 - inflation has cooled every month this year - retail sales still trending higher - labor market still robust. It's never easy.
The stock market is a beast.
There are very few times in a year that you can enter trades and be certain you will make a profit.
Defending profits is key.
Cutting losers is a much larger issue and very important.
Cutting
losses aggressively is the foundation of great returns.
There are a million reasons that money can be "lost" in the market.
I am extremely close to having experienced every one!
The hard,
cold reality of trading is that every trade has an uncertain outcome.
Today, June 2, started out in stellar fashion. It ended well. ATH!
Let's remain vigilant, protect what we have, and do good for the world.
"The
big secret to this business is losing the least amount when you're wrong."
- William O'Neil
Today was epic. Andrew Ross Sorkin buying into the hype and bullshit of an AG1 supplement with Joe Kernan laughing his ass off was so great.
It's Friday on the CNBC set, no Ms. Quick, and that kook CEO of AG1 was tragic!
What an epic farce. I am upset with Costco for even considering this product for sale in their warehouses. I own COST shares, and this was humiliating!
If that unintelligible gibberish and B.S. is what generates $600,000,000 in annual sales, then America is far more gullible than I thought.
That CEO is a fraud, a shyster, and would sell her soul for a dime of dishonesty.
Any chemists out there who want to tell the world what exactly is in that AG1 product besides grass and vitamins?
There is a large amount of hype surrounding this asset class. More every single day.
I have only made money in Bitcoin so far. Lucky me.
Watching CNBC mavens and reading about the Government of the United States getting involved scares me to death. Besides winning a couple of wars, what have the USA politicians done for America besides rip off taxpayers like me? These clowns can't even get DOGE to work for American taxpayers who pay the freight. So many criminals are involved at all levels in this government theft.
Debt levels are unsustainable.
Interest on the debt is a trillion dollars a year.
It's the end of May. I am lessening equity exposure and am going to liquidate my BITCOIN exposure.
Sooner than later.
What does Bitcoin have, you ask? I respond with zero, nothing, zilch.
No book value, no net asset value, no discounted cash flows, no earnings, no intrinsic value.
It reminds me of tulips. At least tulips were real, and you were left with something when price and value converged near zero.
I'm finished. I rode the wave and made money. Wake me up when you think the time is hot to "invest, gamble, play" again in BITCOIN. When it hits a $1,000,000 per BITCOIN there is no need to call, text or email.
It's a zero sum game is it not?
"It might make sense just to get some in case it catches on. If enough people think the same way, that becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy."Mexico has a 48-hour work week. Bet you didn’t know that! America, most of it that I have inhabited or inhabit, doesn’t have a clue about Mexico, its beauty, culture, or work ethic.
America needs to go to work.
At the 2025 Berkshire meeting, Buffett underlined his continued optimism in the stock market and chalked up much of his success to having been born in America.
“If I were being born today, I would just keep negotiating in the womb until they said I could be in the United States,” he said.
Those two positions are mainstays in my approach to generating gains on index short sales.
When I bought them on Friday after the close, I would have bet anyone a million dollars they would be profitable trades this week.
Funny how that works.
Thank you Mr. Market.
Your generosity is most appreciated today and always.
"We are going to get a good one. Don't know where.
You and I paired up; there is only one result."
Staggering.
The dishonesty from many quarters is reason enough to downgrade the United States' credit rating.
They all knew. They were all in on it.
Bidens' White House physician should need legal help.
Who would have thought that a company, such a paragon of virtue, would commit fraud? Inquiring minds want to know.
So does the DJIA committee that selects companies for Dow Jones inclusion. So do the hundreds of ETFs that hold UNH in their portfolios.
Minneapolis company. That figures doesn't it. Woke. Liars. Dishonest.
Billy Mills, national treasure.
In the spring of 1972 I was presented by Mr. Billy Mills with an award I will always treasure.
The "Outstanding Native American Athlete Award" was presented to me at Andes Central High School in Lake Andes, South Dakota. Lake Andes is adjacent to the Yankton Sioux Indian Reservation, and I am extremely proud to say that I am sure that Mr. Mills also had a tremendous impact on the long-time Chairman of the Yankton Siouix Tribe who graduated with me in 1972, Mr. Robert "Bobby" Flying Hawk.
Mr. Mills was an orphan. His mother died when he was eight years old, and his father passed away when he was twelve, leaving him to be raised by his older siblings and later attend the Haskell Institute, a boarding school for Native Americans in Kansas.
Mr. Mills does not drink alcohol.

So you think I was uncomfortable watching my equity free-fall in early April?
You are brilliant. You are so smart.
I was uncomfortable.
Yet, I didn't lose a dime. Why is that?
I didn't sell.
I did not get scared and liquidate.
I wasn't on margin, I had no margin calls.
I sat and did nothing.
Long 3,000. I often buy stocks when they go into NEW HIGH GROUND.
The majority of investors won't buy names when they go into NHG. That price action brings me into those names like a moth to a flame!
This was one I bought some time ago when it went into NHG.
FARO was another I purchased that day. Look at the news on FARO this week!
XERS caught some bids yesterday as well.
Yesterday WBD had a corporate announcement that might bring some attention to the name. Time will tell; it's been dead money for a long time, and I own it by default. It wasn't a name I purchased, only one I inherited with the buffoonery from the nitwits at ATT. Does anyone know if the HBS case study on the demise of ATT has been published? I think it is called, "How Texans eradicated a FORTUNE 10 company's value by billions and cut shareholders' dividend income". A conservative estimate of ATT shareholder assets squandered specifically from the Time Warner merger ranges from $40 billion to $60 billion, with the higher end reflecting the difference between the acquisition cost and the spin-off value, plus associated market cap erosion. The lack of a single definitive figure stems from complexities in isolating Time Warner’s impact from AT&T’s broader media strategy and market fluctuations.
Been off the desk most of the week, and it's fun to check in when the screen is green.
Remember kids, this too shall pass. There's pain ahead, like there was from 4/2 to 4/8!
If it were easy, everyone would be rich.
Most investors don't want to do the work. I am in MARKETSURGE again this morning doing the work and enjoying my coffee. Maybe I can make a few bucks before June Gloom in San Diego and I cut risk for the summer. Why shouldn't I take the summer off?
My golf game needs work.
