I studied inflation extensively in college while taking an economics degree. I dealt with inflation upon arrival in San Diego in 1979 when real estate prices were doubling every few months and gas rationing was rampant.
I have always felt that inflation should be ZERO per cent.
ZERO
Anything more is robbing all of us. ALL Americans.
These academics at the United States Federal Reserve who actually believe 2% inflation is a grand target should be jailed. How can they set a 2% inflation target that excludes as "transitory" what ALL Americans would deem to be necessities?
