Disaster at 1600 Pennsylvania

Let me see if I get this.  The country, my country, floundering around at near $15.7 TRILLION in debt and running up at the rate of $3 MILLION per minute and the Teleprompter-in-Chief wants to make the marriage of homosexuals an election topic worthy of the evening news?

Probably 20% unemployment,  student debt sky-rocketing at a bubble rate, health-care for the obese and those who won't take care of their own health and make it a matter of personal responsibility a looming financial disaster, a broken Social Security, a broken Medicare, inflation for the food and gasoline I consume every single day running at what rate?  Well it sure as hell isn't the rate your government is telling you it is.  I will tell you what it is.  It is a matter of America getting it right up the you-know-where.  Bend over America and take it like the good President wants you to.  Do as he says.  Let the government tell you what to do and how to live and what to believe marriage is.   You probably don't have enuf brains or guts to pull yourself up and think for yourself or do you?

We'll see in November.

If it was a question of whether Indians weren't allowed to marry (and have access to all the benefits that derive from marriage,) would it be important then? You know, up here in Indian Country there are people who think it would be a good idea to control which Indians can procreate and how much. Is that ok with you? It would affect just Indians, of course, because they're all drunk & stupid, is the idea. Maybe blacks. No white people.

It's about equal rights. You can go ahead and believe any definition of marriage you want. No one is proposing to force you to marry anyone - why should you be able to prohibit others from marrying who they want to? And, no, it's not about dogs or ice cream - it's about humans, all humans, not just the ones you & Rush & the rest of the Faux News crowd think are ok.

I've known a lot of Indians but I've never seen a smug one before. It's sad.

(It will be interesting to see if this survives "moderation," to see if you still have any of the courage of your heritage.)
